ClearCut was built to give macOS users a single, beautifully designed app that replaces dozens of scattered tools and online services for video, audio, image, and PDF processing — all while keeping your files private and processing everything locally on your device.

Who Built ClearCut

ClearCut was created by Milad, a senior software engineer from Egypt with a passion for building native macOS applications that are both powerful and simple to use. After years of juggling multiple apps and online services to handle everyday media tasks — compressing a video for email, converting an audio file, resizing images for a project, or merging PDFs — Milad set out to build the one tool that could do it all.

The result is ClearCut: a single native macOS app that combines 41 professional-grade media tools into one clean, intuitive interface. Every feature was designed with real workflows in mind, drawing on feedback from creators, developers, and professionals who need reliable media processing without the complexity of command-line tools or the privacy risks of cloud-based services. ClearCut processes everything on your device using Apple's native frameworks and FFmpeg, so your files never leave your Mac.
